When I first started dyeing yarn, I wasn’t just experimenting with color — I was experimenting with feeling. I learned early on that color speaks — especially when I close my eyes and listen to nature or music, or sit with my feelings.
A single shade can hold layers of feeling — shifting, changing, and revealing something new every time you look at it. Every one of them has a heartbeat.

Over the years, I’ve become obsessed with creating colorways that make people pause and say:

“I don’t know what I’ll make with it… but I need it.”

That spark — that instant jolt of inspiration — is what I chase every time I dye.
And that’s exactly where The Full Spectrum Yarn Club was born.

I’ve already created moodboards for the entire year, each one capturing the inspiration, emotion, and feeling behind the month ahead. These moodboards will be revealed before every preorder window opens, giving you a look at the atmosphere and inspiration behind the colorway that will be dyed.

Every month begins with a feeling — a spark of inspiration that reflects that moment in the year. I spend time tuning into that shift… the atmosphere, the emotion, the way the month feels before any color is created.

Some months feel calm.

Some bright or introspective.

I let those impressions guide everything.

From there, the vision becomes a color story — expressive, layered, and alive. The exact shades stay a mystery until they arrive, and that reveal is part of the magic. It’s color shaped by emotion rather than expectation.

My goal is always to create a skein that carries heart — something that stands beautifully on its own and also blends into what comes next.
