Product Composition:
This yarn contains wool. Please refer to the label for the specific fiber blend percentages.
Certifications:
Our undyed yarn meets the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, ensuring it’s free from harmful substances and safe for human health. (Learn more at oeko-tex.com)
Dyeing and Chemicals:
We are downstream users, not producers, of the chemicals involved in washing and dyeing. We adhere to the safety guidelines outlined in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used during production. These sheets are available for review below.
Yarn Care:
Our yarn is thoroughly washed using Unscented Soak Wash, a hypoallergenic product free from essential oils. If any dye residue transfers to your skin while handling the yarn, simply wash with soap and water. In rare cases of skin sensitivity, treat the area as you would for allergic contact dermatitis, and launder any affected clothing before reuse (as advised by Jacquard.com).
Fire Safety:
While wool is naturally fire-resistant, nylon and other fibers may not be. Keep yarn and finished items away from open flames.
Washing Recommendations:
To maintain the quality of your handmade garments, we recommend washing them in cold water. Do not tumble dry or iron.
