All yarn is dyed in small batches using same recipes every time, yet similarities vary from skein to skein making every hank unique. Purchasing multiple skeins and alternating every few rows in your project best ensures the removal of any possible pooling of colors in your fabric.

I do my best to accurately represent yarn’s truest colors. However, all computer monitors and devices have slight color changes and colors may vary.

Highly recommend hand washing in cool water and lay flat to dry. Some light bleeding may occur during the first few washes. If working with highly saturated pinks or reds, it is best to avoid working them with pale colors.

Using multiple colors for projects, best practice is to swatch and soak first to determine if they will affect each other.

Shipping Timeline
All ready-to-ship items are sent within 4 business days (Monday–Saturday). For dyed-to-order and pre-order items, the shipping window ranges from 2 to 12 weeks. Each product page provides specific details regarding preorder timelines. I aim to ship these as quickly as possible! If you order in-stock items along with pre-orders, everything will ship together once the pre-order items are ready.

Shipping Carriers
I offer multiple shipping options to fit your needs. Depending on your location and preference, your order will be shipped via USPS, UPS, DHL, or FedEx. You can choose your preferred shipping carrier at checkout, or I'll select the best available option for you based on your location and timing. Be sure to double-check your shipping address before finalizing your order—especially if using PayPal. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, you’ll be responsible for re-shipping costs unless the error is mine, in which case I’ll cover the cost.
For domestic orders, delivery usually takes 5–7 business days after shipping. International orders may take 4–6 weeks. Please keep in mind that shipping delays may occur. If your package is delayed, contact the carrier before reaching out to me. Missing mail requests can be filed directly with the carrier’s customer service.

Tracking & Insurance
Tracking will be provided for all U.S. shipments and international shipments where available. Once your package is handed off to the carrier, you will receive an email with your tracking information. Standard First-Class shipping does not include insurance, but Priority Mail and equivalent services from other carriers may offer coverage (typically $50 for U.S. shipments). If your package is lost, the responsibility to file a claim lies with you, the recipient, through the carrier. Twisted Ambitions Yarn is not liable for lost or delayed packages.

For international shipments via First-Class, insurance and tracking are not available once the package leaves the U.S. Delivery times range from 3–6 weeks. If your package hasn’t arrived after 6 weeks, you can contact me for assistance, but all claims must be filed by you through the shipping carrier.

Preorder Status
When placing an order that includes a pre-order item, shipping labels may be generated early on, but tracking may not update until closer to the shipping date. Pre-orders take time to process, dye, and ship, so please be patient and refer to the product listing for specific timeframes. Feel free to check in after the stated timeline has passed if you haven't received your package.

International Shipping Costs
International shipping rates to Canada range from $11.50–$32.50, while other international destinations range from $24.50–$65, depending on package weight and shipping options. Final shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
All international orders are shipped via First-Class, and I will attempt to combine multiple orders where possible. International packages are labeled as "yarn" and valued at the price paid. Any customs fees or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient, as I have no control over international duties.
